The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, April 7 reveals Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will press Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) for the truth.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) find out info on their captor. Plus, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will put Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) on the hot seat. And Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will meet Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Y&R spoilers tease Audra will ask Victor what he has in mind for her, regarding her future. So, Victor will ask if she still holds a grudge against Kyle. Audra will remind him he’s the one who fired her. But Victor will say the point is, Kyle stabbed her in the back. “Let’s make a deal.”
He’ll add he’s willing to let her run a division of his company. “Tell me what you would consider your dream job and it’s yours.” So, she’ll ask how she’s supposed to screw over Kyle. “By demonstrating how easy it is to lure him back into an affair with you,” Victor will reply. “Simply help me point out what a weak and treacherous man Kyle Abbott is.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon And Phyllis Wants Answers From Chance
Then Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will walk in and he won’t be happy to see them sitting together. He’ll walk over and Victor will tell him to be careful of Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) and Aristotle Dumas. Nate will say he can make up his own mind about who to trust. But when Victor leaves, he’ll ask Audra what that was all about.
At Sharon’s cottage, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will arrive. He’s going with them to London and has chartered the Newman jet to take them there. She’ll tell him their children will be excited.
But before they head out, Chance is coming over with some news. Phyllis will show up and see the packed suitcases. Sharon will tell her Nick is joining her and Faith in London. Phyllis will smile and say she’s happy for them.
Then Chance will arrive. He’ll tell them the remote that triggered the gas at the clinic was purchased online. It was traced to a psychiatric clinic in Paris. “Wasn’t Ashley treated at a clinic outside of Paris?” Sharon will ask. “Alan Laurent arranged it.”
Nick will notice a look on Chance’s face and ask if that means anything to him. Chance will say no. Plus, he can’t get into the details. “We are suffering,” Phyllis will reply. “Please, we deserve to know.” So, Chance will say another piece of this puzzle may have fallen into place. Phyllis will say that doesn’t help them.
After Chance leaves, Phyllis will wonder if Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) had anything to do with their kidnapping. She’ll say she’s mentally unstable and she’s in Paris. Sharon will doubt it, then she’ll recall her conversation with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). “She was very interested in knowing about what Phyllis and I went through,” she’ll add. “Thinking back, she was almost upset about the details.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Kyle And Claire Flirt In Front Of Summer
Phyllis will say she doesn’t know what to make of this. Nick will say Chance had a reaction, when Alan’s name was brought up, “At the very least, there’s some suspicion there.” Phyllis will say perhaps they should rethink their family trip.
Meanwhile, Claire will grill Kyle about his earlier conversation with his father. She’ll ask if it had something to do with her grandfather. He’ll deny it and say he refuses to let them be a casualty in the Abbott and Newman war.
“I need to know, Kyle,” Claire will reply. “We’re not leaving this table until I get a real answer.” Kyle will just say there’s corporate espionage going on at Jabot. Claire will ask if Victor is involved. Kyle will say he isn’t.
Summer will walk in and make her usual snide faces while Kyle and Claire flirt. They’ll discuss Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) and Summer will try to smile. As the couple walks out, giggling together, Summer will look hurt as she watches them.
Finally, Chance will show up and ask if everything’s okay. He’ll tell her they can dance around it all they want. “But we both know it’s there, you and Kyle,” he’ll add. “You hate that he’s with her so why don’t you just admit it, at least to yourself, if not to me.”
“Fine, I can’t stand it that they’re together,” she’ll reply. Summer will say she hates that Claire has taken over Kyle and Harrison’s lives. She can’t deny it, there’s a part of her that’s not over losing him. Summer will add that her family acts like Claire walks on water. “So, yes, sometimes I wish she would just disappear.”
